thedemoninside
I'm sure it has been posted before, but there are some enchants that do not work. For instanced Muffled can not be disenchanted from what I can tell. Also when you kill the assassin bandits near the end of the Thieves Guild quests, there is a bandit leader with named clothes. You can disenchant them for some Shadow spell that seems to replicate the pickpocketing and sneaking enchants, but it does not appear to be ablt to be enchanted on anything after you have them in your list. Finally I see that someone made a mod to allow 3 or 4 enchants on an item. While this is cool, 3 should probably be the max. Also with the additional enchant, there should be some way of balancing the item to not be too overpowered. Maybe this could be done by assigning some sort of points system to each enchant, and each item can only have a certain number of points worth of enchanting done to an item. I don;t know how it would all work out on the technical side, but its an idea. With this I would also like to see any armor enchant to be able to go on any other piece of armor, instead of limiting some enchants to only 1 or 2 pieces of gear. All of this, combined into a single mod that that addresses balance issues would pretty much be an all-around improvement over vanilla IMO. thedemoninside
So why have so few mods for enchanting been created yet? Theres a few for smithing and alchemy. Is modifying enchanting without the official editor a real pain compared to the others or something?
