masseffectman1
Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone could help me. I am making my own armour set for Skyrim, using GIMP. I am using the simple method of erasing to alpha to make textures invisible. But, i have noticed that certain armour pieces that i've erased, can be seen from certain angles in-game. For instance, the long back of the Nightinggale armour can be seen from the front, but not from the back as i have erased it. I am saving the files using BC3/DXT5 compression with mip-maps. If someone could help that would save me some headache pills, thanks.
billyro
I don't know if you have to add properties in the .nif file of the armour like Oblivion had to, but I doubt that it would be the problem. The cape is invisible from one side? Is there another part of the texture that fills the other side of the cape? I haven't looked at that armour yet so I don't know. Perhaps you just missed a part that you have to erase.
