so in fallout 4 all settlements have a happiness rating made by all settlers. now as an oversight robots have a maximum happiness of 50 rather than 100 the same as the human settlers. so any time you have too many robot settlers it can tank your settlement happiness. and with robots being the most efficient at certain tasks and the only ones available at certain locations this can cause false negatives and impede human settler growth.

if possible just setting their max to 100 would be best. but other solutions to fix this issue would be great.

Also robots dont count as defence for some reason.I mean I created in Automatron real mean killing mashine

and he is in Sanctuary but he doesnt count to defence.

I guess the other solution would be to disregard robots in the happiness calculation. But making them 100% happy all the time would be ok, too.

Have you actually assigned it to a guard post?

I agree, 100% happy robot mod would be ideal, disregading them a good alternative.

And yeah, having an ultimate kill bot is useful in an attack, but you need to put it on guard duty for any passive benefit.

Unless you use the robot settlers mod.

Realistically, it makes no sense. Shouldn't having a robot who does all the farming, such as in the case of Sanctuary in one of my games, actually BOOST happiness? I have no idea what Bethesda was thinking.

I have to agree. Automatron robots expect you to take them with you and you're only left with "I'll be back later". If you build a base bot, it should BE a base bot. A settler, with adjusting happiness as it fits in and converses with the other settlers. The only reason for a endless 50 happiness would be if you left the personality subroutine turned off, in which case you're only getting what you deserve.
