ArymisFowl
Hi there, I'm not a pro modder by any means but ive been tinkering with some stuff for a while in the creation kit.I REALLY love the look of castle strunmah... its by far the most beautiful house mod out there, those windows... take my breath away when i walk in. But the size... while it feels cozy I need a little more and the tower outside on the redone version doesnt help the original so i figured hey why not just add a small display room and a library or kitchen or something on the other side and make the place just a tad bigger - it doesnt even need to have the wonderful windows just more... well space. So I've made the rooms and attached them about 5 times saved them but they wont show up in game! Every time i go to fix them they are still there I just can't get the new rooms to show up in the actual game.Things I have tried:Run as an adminLeaving the cell then coming backTrying to edit the original strunmah file instead of redone - which just deleted everything i had made in creation kitadding objects in individually not just copy pastingYes I'm saving it as an esp (to my knowledge i mean im saving it via floppy and when i reopen in creation kit my edits are still there)I'm really just stuck, this very simple little project that would really make my skyrim experience a lot better is giving me some headaches XD. I'm doing this just for me I don't plan to distribute and I don't have permission to.If anyone knows how to fix this, has had the same problem, or knows why this won't work (I may just be a creation kit noob) lemme know pls. JaydenFuski
No expert myself, but do you have your custom esp. in your load order? @ArmisFowl
ArymisFowl
No, see what I'm doing (and this is probably wrong, like i said just been tinkering not doing projects like this) ive been editing the original esp... I dont know how i would attach the rooms without the original, since i have to take out part of the wall, then add an arch to serve as a door. so how would i go about making a new esp to edit this mod? JaydenFuski
So when you loaded the files, you set the mods esp as the active file?
ArymisFowl
Yes exactly then ive been editing via cell view since i dont know how to make an esp file that will let me reference and attach to that mod
JaydenFuski
Hmm... My best advice is watch a Youtube video on it. I'm kinda stumped now too... Lol. I'll let you know if I figure anything out.
ArymisFowl
ty ty I think you have pointed me in the right direction with making my own esp file, still trying to figure out how to reference it though, I'm looking up more info on it and going to play with it a bit more but still going to keep looking here for help. There aren't any videos on it i can really find but i found an article on lovers lab that is similar... sort of.

PeterMartyr
You need to Esmify the Castle Mod has a Master File with TES5Edit then select It & your Mod Redone only in creation kit. Then the House will be your Mod Master & your changes will show in game. Select "CastleMod" Only in TES5Edit & load & Wait for finished message. Select the "+" & expand Castle Mod Select the Castle mod "File Header" & Go to Right Panel See "Record Flags" in the blank bit to the right "Right Click & Select 'Edit' " Select "Yes I'm absolutely sure" Tick "ESM" & then click OK To Close click RED X on the top right Make sure CastleMod & Backup is Ticked select "ok" to saveOpen the Creation Kit with Castle Mod (Master) & Redone.esp) To restore follow the above only untick ESM If you Load your mod in creation kit without Castle mod Esmifly the creation kit remove as a master & your mod will stop working. If the Creation crashes on start up you need to Allow Multiple Master File in the Editor.ini Search the Nexus for Creation Kit Fix. Note with Multiple Master Files CK will always crash on closing, this is normal, get used to it. Edited September 26, 2016 by PeterMartyr
