Goredoth
I have recently started using the Nexus Mod Manager and I was just wandering how the 4GB Skyrim mod worked with it. When I first used it it gave me a new icon to launch Skyrim with which I was under the impression was the icon I had to use if I wanted to play Skyrim with 4GB access but when I downloaded with with NMM it gave me no icon but said it was installed correctly and everything. Does this mean I can launch Skyrim from Steam or the shortcut from STEAM on my desktop and the mod will automatically work? Thanks!
ishmaeltheforsaken
You must either use the included launcher (or a shortcut to it) or launch through Wrye Bash.
Goredoth
So when I install it using the NMM it does give me the normally included launcher and I will just find that in /skyrim/mods (where I selected NMM to install mods) and I just need to create a shortcut from that launcher to my desktop? Thanks for your reply.
ishmaeltheforsaken
Yes, that's correct. It doesn't actually matter where you extract the 4 GB files to as long as the launcher.exe and the .dll stay together. Just put them wherever and make a shortcut.
