CTD when around windhelm and Kynsegrove

Just as the title says. I know there is a similar post near this one, but this seems to encompass a much larger area. With Windhelm the game will crash randomly; sometimes as I'm on the bridge leading in to the city, sometimes when i try to enter the main gate, and sometimes randomly within the city itself. It is completely random. With Kynsegrove, however, the game will ALWAYS CTD when I fast travel to it or get anywhere near it. Now, that was not always the case, as I have already completed (this playthrough) The main story quest for Kynesgrove AND randomly traveled there several times before. I have not changed or updated any mods since starting this playthrough, nor have a I altered my load order in any way. I will list my specs and load order below. any ideas?

I'm not. I've never really had much of an issue. Forgive me if that sounds silly, as long as I've been playing the game modded I've never dived too terribly deep into it, for fear of permanently screwing up my game Edited September 27, 2016 by cidthedarkangel

okay, so first thank you. I now have a much better understanding of how skyrim memory works and how to use the crash log tool. Very useful! and doing this has helped me discover what the problem is... but I have no idea how to fix it. this is the error message I am getting:

27 Sep 22:02:12 Skyrim has crashed due to a missing NiNode. This could indicate an incompatible skeleton, make sure you:
1. Have XPMS skeleton installed.
2. Don't have another skeleton overwrite XPMS in your mod manager.
3. Have run FNIS.
If this happened while you removed a clothing item it's definitely incompatible skeleton.

So I already have XMPS installed (XMPSE technically), and everything looks good. I attempted to moved it higher in the load order, as I did not realize L00T put it surprisingly low in the load order, but that just led to the infinite load screen. should I deactivate XMPSE and reinstall it?

Again I apologize if I sound like a dolt, i've never run into this issue before

ran loot, it did redo the order a little bit but I ran the game, still having the same issue

you have installed NetImmerse Override? it is necessary for XPMSE to work, If you want you can install Race Menu Instead it has it incorporated and will even replace "More Hair Colors Vanilla.esp" because you can use whatever color you want.
