Oroborus15
I've been looking around for a while and noticed that almost all vanilla light armor, and most mods that add light armor have only open faced helmets. I've seen a few mods to vanilla helmets that have closed faces, either a mask under the helmet or a add on that covers the face in youtube videos, but have not seen any links to get them. I personally seem to be the kind of odd ball that thinks armor should be covering. It just doesn't make any sense to me if my character takes an arrow to the eye and only feels a bee sting of damage because I have a full set of dragonscale. A mask, or face covering in the helmet gives an explanation (even if flimsy) why my character isn't currently leaking frontal lobe allover the floor. Even a set of masks that fit on the face but register to an extra slot so they can be worn at the same time as a helmet would be helpful. (I know mods like that can work, unless the FO4 CK is really different than the Skyrim one, there was a FO4 custom gas mask that registered to the right arm when wearing and it caused no problems other than making arm specific armor mods incompatible). If this already exists and I just missed it can you put a link?
Nephenee13
But "light" armor helmets are traditionally open. Its a tradeoff. Less protection, but its lighter and more versatile. Closed face helmets severely restrict point of view.
