NMM updates horrible!

Your last 3 or so updates to the NMM have made me spend hours upon hours trying to get my mods loading again properly. Hours that I should not have to be spending on this!

Now I am hosed up again thanks to this latest one and I'm getting no where fixing it, I guess I'll now be spending DAYS trying to get my game to run again.

This is totally unacceptable!

Please, please. stop whatever it is you're doing, or whoever it is that is doing it and rethink it...

So fuming now, i can barely type...

Do you realize there has been a game update that has nothing to do with Nexus?

Yes, but not in between when I quit the game , came back 10 minutes later and restarted the game , was notified of the NMM update and it began installing, even after I pushed no, or cancel or whatever the 'don't want it' button is, since I had such a horrible time previously. Did no good, still started unintalling my mods..

The issue is this uninstallling of mods and reinstalling , it is extremely problematic, the order isn't preserved some don't reload again .. and bingo, I can no longer load any of my old games after hours of messing with stuff I have no reason to be messing with since it was all working fine right before their forced update. They need to rethink changes in their mod installing that requires people to uninstall everyting and then it doesn't reinstall things correctly and boom you just lost a year's worth of saves.

My opinion of course. but when it happens to you, you may also feel equally put out . All the official DLCs have been issued. why put mod users through this unnstalling reinstalling nightmare?

I think I know what you are talking about, but it updated for me about a week ago. After the update, even uninstalling the mod left esp and other assets in the data folder. I ended up having to delete the data folder and restore from a clean backup.

I wasn't annoyed though, because I wanted to try out awkcr, and it gave me a good reason to go over each mod I installed and make sure it played nice.

I know the update you're talking about. This update came about 6 months ago.

So I knew about the game update, but I really thought everyone would have gone through that then, not now.
