.:Imrahil:.
Hi all, I just registered an account on these forums. Im a big fan of Lord of the Rings; Read the Books (All 3, plus the Hobbit), seen the movies but haven't played a decent game of LotR yet. Those EA games aren't any good. Then I heard about the MEmod, and I think this will finally be a game (mod) worthy of LotR and Tolkien. As my name suggests, I like Imrahil. Imrahil ownz! Will he be in the game? Will Dol Amroth be in the game? btw, happy new year all! Cheers, Imrahil PS. I'm not French but Dutch. 14 years old, so if there's any weird English in there ^^^^^ you know why that is. Darnoc
I suggest you read the Silmarillion and the book of lost tales too. And I agree with you, the EA-games are worth nothing. Oh, by the way, I'm Swiss, so you're not the only one who writes sometimes strange things.
Feanor11
Welcome to the forums. If your new, you'll probably want to get Bloodmoon cause its required for Memod. Read the faq and the stickies and you'll find that this mod will take place before the War of the Ring, so no Imrahil. However, anything mentioned by Tolkien during the timeline will be included to the best of the Devs abilities.
.:Imrahil:.
Why no Imrahil? I don't think he got born during the war of the Ring... I've got Bloodmoon and Tribunal, no worries there! :D
.:Imrahil:.
If the mods only make what's being described in the books, Middle Earth will be quite small...No DOl Guldur, Dol Amroth, Osgiliath, no Angmar, Barad-Dur...
Feanor11
I meant that this will take place before Bilbo Baggins was born.Bilbo born TA 2890Imrahil born TA 2955According to encyclopedia of arda If the mods only make what's being described in the books, Middle Earth will be quite small...No DOl Guldur, Dol Amroth, Osgiliath, no Angmar, Barad-Dur... Why? I meant anything existing within the timeline from the three LotR books, the Sil, the History of Middle Earth, and Unfinished Tales. Plus, any other thing Tolkien may have said, like Letters of JRR Tolkien. Where there are spaces not specifically described in great detail, they will fill them in with canonical stuff, at least I believe so ^_^ Edit: btw, use the edit function on the top right of a post, some people have a thing against double posting :D
