runicNomad
Any technical issues with the new patch or does it actually fix things this time around?
elvinkun
Basically it fixes what 1.2 broke. And that's it.Saw quite a few people reporting FPS drop and FPS getting better, so not sure there.Personaly, no problems, apart from that it messed up my mouse sensitivity a bit. Yeah, my mouse sensitivity went mad when I patched. I could barely move for a while.
runicNomad
do you have it changed in the ini to fix it... the mouse sensitivity that is? hmm i wonder if this means they fixed or are trying to fix the abysmal mouse sensitivity issues. Everytime the game updates it goes to hell for me tho. Had to move the slider a bit and it got fixed this time. Can't edit mouse in inis anymore after 1.2 or I'll get horrible mouse-look stutter. runicNomad
yack cant edit the mouse in the ini... I have relied on that to fix the horrible mouse lag in menus and map mode.i think i am staying with version 1.1 until community patches come out after the ck arrives.the original game 1.12 has run extremely smooth for me and with shadow tweaks and other tweaks located in the links below the game runs even better. excluding the obvious mouse issues due to the fact it was optimized for a gamepad i have had no ctds other than those which were caused by memory caps from textures and loads from tweaks.http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=283http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=
daventry
My PC Game is Worse now, i can play Skyrim for 5 Minutes, then i see Purple and Yellow Textures with a CTD is it me or is it Truly the Game F'd up. You wont believe the many Broken Un-finished Quest Bugs i have. Edited December 8, 2011 by daventry
eagledude4
1.3 broke the initial loading screen for me, so I can't actually load the game. The process seems to stop responding.
Martian1
I held off updating to 1.2 but went for 1.3 when I saw there were some cpu optimisations in this patch. Now 1.3 installed and my UI is messed up.You can now easily use mouse to select items and options in the menus and loot screens, but key control is now broken. I was playing quite happily until I tried to read a book from Items/Books, no keys where displayed at the bottom of the screen and tab would not work to exit the book. I had to alttab out and end process.
kevin974
Like Martian I skipped the 1.2 and then got 1.3. I havent any texture issues, loss of button functionality or fps loss(at least nothing noticeable anyways) and really like being able to use my mouse in menus, but in the 3 hours I have played I've had 3 ctds. With the initial 1.1 I had maybe 4 ctds in one complete playthrough and half another. Am goingn to keep playing for a few days to see if the ctds work themselves out, if not I will revert back to 1.1(fortunately I had the foresight to back up the whole game directory before patching ;) )Edit: found out crashes may be due to enbseries mod, which has been updated. Will be applying update to see if it stops the ctds, and if not will remove it to see if it is really the culprit(would hate to have to remove it permanently since it really made my game 100% better in 1.1).
