Yvese Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Once CK comes out I'd like to see a mod that lets you lock-on to a target like in Zelda :D IMO the melee combat in skyrim is clunky. Especially in 3rd person. It just feels weird to me.
zaidibd14 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 hey i want to see this mod too its hard to track dragons :'(lock on will make life a lot easier :Di agree with yvese 3rd person feels bit awkward to mee too :S
PsxMeUP Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I've been clamoring for this since I first played Oblivion!

Where is the challange in a mod like this here? After all this insn't some FPS where you can just lock onto your target and take it out with one shot. If you suck at using a bow then stick with melee plain and simple.<G> A mod like the OP suggested is one for which I wouldn't download or endorse as the game is to easy as it is now and I play on master.
amborgeson Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Quiet frankly, all I want is the same level of lock on that the NPCs have, and mostly in melee. I have seen the NPCs twist in mid swing to keep their attacks aimed at you. I have no option to do the same sort of thing if they side step.
iamthefritch Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 honestly i like the whole "oh crap where did the dragon go?" aspect i think it adds to the intensity of the dragon fights but i could see how having the option to lock on would be very nice in other types of battles maybe have a version of it where you can only lock on to targets that are in close proximity

Great compromise for the ideals.
iamthefritch Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 you would just have to figure out a good lock on system and set up a way to switch between targets preferibly keys close to the WASD that arent being used
