CaptainChaos
Does it matter if a disenchant gauntlets of minor wielding versus gauntlets of major wielding when it comes later to enchanting items? Or is it basically all Fortify One Handed? In other words, if I want to create a non-exploited, just regular enchanting process, fortify one handed weapon gauntlet: (a) do I need to disenchant a more powerful version of that item first, or (b) will any cheap fortify one handed item work, just to teach me the same enchantment, but the strength of that enchantment will depend entirely on my skill, perks, buffs, soul gem, etc. Thanks for any help! Iv000
It doesn't matter. You just learn the enchantment when you disenchant the item. The power of the enchantment is then determined by your Enchanting skill and the Soul Gem you use.
