theredheadhenry
I have a quick question, don't know if anyone knows. When the new Skyrim Remastered comes out, will our MODs that we make in the current version of the game be compatible with it? So if I start making a MOD now with the Creation Kit will it work on the Remastered version?
csbx
I don't think anyone knows for sure to what extent a given mod will 'just work' in the remaster. But you have to know that Beth. would be, ahem, unwise, to render thousands of mods suddenly unfit to use in this edition. Mods may have to be 'processed' in some way that shouldn't be too difficult. As for mods using SKSE, that's another story.

lofgren
I believe last word from Beth was that mods would have to be opened in the new CK and saved again. Of course that doesn't apply to any mods that use SKSE.

lofgren
Unless SKSE upgrades (I haven't heard either way), it doesn't matter since SKSE definitely will not work. If a mod does not require SKSE there's no reason you can't open it in the CK yourself and save it for the new version.

TomTesoro
All mods, including those that require SKSE, will be compatible in time. Whether the mod author decides to make the compatible, however, is another story. This could end up being a problem, where people will be converting over mods without permission and uploading them.
