Question about sneak attack

Which really surprised me when I noticed it. I had a two-handed mallet, playing an amazon type RP character. I wanted her to sneak up behind opponents and pop their heads like a ripe melon with her mallet of doom.

but always, even when sneak was up to 100 and blun was up to 80, it always said "sneak attack for x1 damage".

first I thought it was a bug, then later while I was reading the manual and official strategy guide (boredome mostely, I know just about everything on side quest and main quests), it stated the increase damage doesn't apply to two-handed weapons.. which totally screwed my RP character to the piont where I just deleted her, even with the nice add-on amazon armor that OOO gave me.

there was just no point to it.

I'd like to see this revamped in a mod; plus a mod that adds 'blucklers' to the game - small fore-arm based shields that can be worn while using two-handed weapons, with lower AC and HP values for their respective counterparts of the same material of course. (oh but that's another topic - sorry, wasn't trying to hijack the thread).

There's gotta be a way to edit this in the OMOD simply...

I mean, you simply have to change one value to change the sneak attack multiplier for one handed weapons. Can't we do the same thing for twohanded weapons too? I couldn't find the value though..

You guys are talking about a mod, right?

It's not possible to get a 'great' sneak attack in with a two-hander.

And there is a mod to let you 'pop their heads like a ripe melon'. :P Deadly Reflexes.

No. Not a mod.

I'm saying that You can change a value in the "settings" section of the construction set to increase the sneak attack multiplier (to x10000 or some absurd value) for one-handers, then save it as a mini-mod to merely apply the setting on top of the normal oblivion game.

However, I cannot find any setting that would increase the sneak attack multiplier for two handed weapons.
