GeekiiBookworm
Hello everyone! I have been trying to fix this issue for weeks now, with the only improvement being I CTD less frequently. I am having random CTD's, such as: When I'm in the ESC menuWhile playing a tavern game (TavernGames.esp)Getting off my horseDoing nothing, literallyRidingWalking (and running!)Having a good time (sarcasm because I am so, beyond frustrated ) One thing I have noticed - or rather, haven't noticed, is I do not think I have experienced a CTD whilst in combat! I could be wrong, however. Below is (hopefully) all the information needed! Please help me fix this, I am trying my hardest, but I don't have the advanced modding skills needed to truly troubleshoot this issue. My Modwatch https://modwat.ch/u/geekiibookworm Loot Messages Cloaks.esp Contains 2 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit. A cleaning guide is available here. TheEyesOfBeauty.esp Contains 2 ITM records. GeekiiBookworm
Sadly, those do not work for me. I'm still experiencing crashes/ My latest one was in Swindler's Den. I was just running, no combat or anything.
GeekiiBookworm
Bump. I am still crashing, even using the above.
Anya29
After trying the above, have you uninstalled a mod that contained scripts, script data still in the save game? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? Check for orphaned scripts in your save game and remove, then test your game.
GeekiiBookworm
Nope, the only mod I've uninstalled was a basic NPC mod that I made myself. I started with a clean save and my modlist already complete with what I wanted.

panurgy
First, clean Cloaks and TEOB. These shouldn't matter, but it only takes a few minutes. From your description, I bet you have a couple of different issues, maybe both memory and mod problems. If you're using ENB, make sure that ExpandSystemMemoryX64 is false. If you're not, you should be using ENBoost for the memory fixes, though you may want at least a light config to fix shadows as well. The only caveat is that ENB doesn't work as well on AMD hardware, but AFAIK, it's still a universal recommendation. Consider the following changes temporary, and be ready to revert backups unless you see noticeable improvement. [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false Also, ReservedMemorySizeMb should be a small value, around 128 or 256. This depends on your system though. After changing the above settings, try this in SKSE.ini: ***Make sure you can easily revert changes back, later.*** [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Also, would you be up for starting a new game, so you can test what happens with certain mods removed? If so: Remove SkyTEST and supporting mods/patches. Play the game for a while and see if things are improved. The other one I would want to remove for testing is SoS, but I'd see how it goes with SkyTEST removed first. If SkyTEST is the problem, or a contributor, you could try Animal Tweaks or another similar mod. SkyTEST is great, but very script heavy.

If this doesn't help, I'll try removing SkyTEST, however... I really don't think it's a scripting issue. Before I had this PC, I was using a laptop - absolutely could not run Frostfall whatsoever - SkyTEST, however, was always fine. I've never experienced any issues with it. That being said, my PC now is... fairly good. It has a lot of power.
