In need of dire help

Ok so i started playing Oblivion with a couple of mods, just small one and they all worked fine until i downloaded the beautiful people package with rens hair. it was working fine for about 3 months or so until i downloaded a streamline mod to check the performance of the game. anyway after recently deleting the mod due to crashing problems i found that even though all the mods were in the right place and the boxes checked in the data files menu, no mods will work i mean NO mods not knights of the nine, not beautiful people not even little mods like my little farm. NOTHING. This problem has taken me to a new level of frustration. anyone with ideas please help. :wallbash:

For me oblivion has become a very dull and sour game.

Since you said that you do not care about getting banned, I seriously thought about doing it but we have a system in place and most everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Consider this only your first strike.

Keep in mind that if nobody replies, then one or more of the following applies:

1. The right people didn't see it.

2. Those that read it didn't know of a possible solution

3. You didn't include enough detail for somebody to suggest a solution

4. There simply are not enough eyes on this thread to get a quick answer

5. etc. the list can go on and on.

Bottom line...be nice, be persistent and use multiple forum sites...The Official Elder Scrolls forums, Canadian Ice, etc.

As for advice, I have some: Oblivion Mod Manager. Check my sig for a How-To site. I learned my lesson early on that manually installing, updating and removing mods is a sure-fire way of messing up your savegames and it isn't the fault of the mod makers.

More advice, read the Oblivion Mods FAQ
