Loki180
i'm a total noob so don't kill me if i say something without sense, but since the problem is the animation of the player holding the rifle, isn't it possible to extract the animation from a fallout game like new vegas and, doing some mumbo jumbo modifications i don't understand, put it in skyrim, maybe it won't be perfect but maybe that would be a first step in the processI don't think anything from oblivion or Fallout is possible, cuz of the new game engine. I think, Anyone correct me if that is wrong =D Also I think the guns would go well, it could be the dawn of a new age, the Death of Magic and Bows. Would make a cool story line! Next we can run a dragon over with a tank!
NanoCrudele
but we are not talking about game content, it's an animation, a skeleton which it's only purpose is being wrappe with a texture and moved into the game if we have the core of the skeleton from fallout and the one from skyrim, maybe it's possible to understand the differences between them, maybe it's not a copy paste but a core to develop

Though I guess maybe Bethesda has made a simple system of importing in new weapons and configuring them to work with the player model, similar to the UDK possibly? gingersnapples
making the projectile wouldn't be hard, a re-meshed arrow would suffice.from what i recall, you can't have custom impact data. you can have custom impact sets, just not data.oh, yeah. bump. crebble
It's a shame that this seems dead. Looked like a really interesting and cool mod.
ghosu
There are several projects in "waiting position"...same with mine, so i won't call it dead  I guess some people are waiting until we can import new real working animations. CrashMasterJMM
Lore-wise I would say breech-loading is still way too advanced for Skyrim if guns existed in the first place. I'd personally be going with flintlock. If the dwarves could make steam ROBOTS, breach loaders wouldn't be a far stretch, lol!
