dkeefe3773
I've tried adjusting all settings in game and those allowed by my audio driver yet the sound of rivers and waterfalls falls flat. It seems a volume issue rather than the sound recordings themselves. When you are out hiking in real life and come across a stream with mild turbulence, it's pretty loud and you can hear the crashing of the water against rocks and the water mist cascading upward. And next to rivers and waterfalls that violently flow like those in Skyrim the sound should be almost deafening. (Though, that level of realism would be annoying in game unless you were standing in the waterfall). I think the wilderness immersion would be enhanced if the flowing water sounds were more prevalent. As it is, it's very much in the background. Thanks! I am in total agreement that this simple tweak would make a big difference to immersion.
