SickFak
Hey there folks, Two things that I find hard to understand. Usually I'd just test and come to understanding such things through trial and error, but these two... OK, first the bow damage... how does it work? I mean a dagger for example is easy, if the damage is 15, then the damage is 15 (15x15 = 225 backstab). But if the bow has 40 damage and arrows that do 16 damage, how does it calculate? Does it do 40+16=56 damage (56x3 = 168 sneak) then? Or is there a more sophisticated calculation? ... Also do daggers do more damage when you sneak/backstab with power attack or not? Haven't noticed any difference... And then the resistance percentages... OK, fire, frost, shock resistances are simple, get them closer to 100% and you'll be happy. But what about magic resistance? For example if my Breton has 25% magic resistance, it means I have 25% resistance against fire, frost and shock. BUT... But does it stack? If I have boots that give me 25% fire resistance, does it mean I'll have 50% resistance to fire while 25% to frost and shock? Does playing as Breton mean I only have to get 75% elemental resistances to be completely immune? Thanks in advance...
vertex23
The number on the bottom next to damage is what get's multiplied; which is bow + arrow - enchantment.Haven't tried using daggers, so not sure if power attacks count. (Don't you one shot everything anyway with stealth?)Yes, it stacks. Yes, that means you can be magic immune.
SickFak
The number on the bottom next to damage is what get's multiplied; which is bow + arrow - enchantment. Now you lost me... I don't remember any numbers on the bottom. So it is bow damage + arrow damage then?
