Fuzzy Graphics

Hey all!

All of a sudden I'm starting to get a lot of fuzzy graphics in game and I haven't changed anything.

For example, the exterior trashcans and the Nuka Cola machines are so fuzzy that you can barely make out the word "nuka" on the top of them. Desks are muddy looking now too as well as some walls and ground trash. Other stuff is crystal clear and the detail is perfect. I've been seeing hints of this in other posts here too, but not exactly the same.

Anybody else having this issue? Anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?

Sounds like textures aren't loading correctly. Have you recently installed/uninstalled any retexture mods?

A look at your load order might also help.

Nope, no graphics mods, nothing like that. I've been playing with the same load order now for about 400 hours of play. It just started out of the blue. As stated in original post, I haven't changed anything. Same mods I've always used, none added or taken away, no load order change, nothing. Just started happening. . .weird huh?

It is odd that it's just suddenly happened like that, although could be related to something Bethesda altered in an update - the update prior to release of Nuka World caused this exact issue for me, where some textures wouldn't load correctly, and would appear blocky/blurry as if using one of the mip maps rather than the full texture. Also, thanks to Bethesda altering the way that textures are loaded in-game (using a new streaming method that is vram intensive) caused meshes/textures to suddenly appear out of thin air, as well as numerous freezes whilst my system struggled to load things in from a new cell.

Thanks for the response. I've suspected that this is a "Bethesda thing" because of the suddenness of the problem and seeing that there are others who are now complaining of this as well. I usually play the game on a medium setting, so I bumped it up to Ultra, and while the graphics look a little better, there are still many objects in the game that are still blury. It has to be an update issue.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer this.
