diosoth
I've grabbed a few music/soundtrack packs here, the ones by Michikawa, as I'm on my 3rd playthrough of the game now and the default soundtrack's gotten old already. But while these mix with the main soundtrack files, they don't replace anything, so... can I safely remove the default music tracks from the files and leave only the replacement tunes? Or will this cause some sort of errors? For all I know, the game might expect those files to be there in the directory and checks for them. DrakeTheDragon
No, it doesn't. As much as filenames of music files don't matter as much doesn't the game care for there being the original files. There are other factors which actually do matter, but filenames is none of them. The only files it will search for are the ones in the "special" subfolder. Those names are hardcoded (or defined in the ini?) and must be present... well, I think not even this, as they just won't play when missing... but that's just guessing now.
