Does anyone have any advice for dealing with the Bethesda Stutter?

I have a bottleneck on my Samsung 850 Pro because of my mobo. My mobo is the Sabertooth 990FX R2. I got the mobo because the specs said that it could handle the read/write rates. Even clarified it with people at TH. But, I have never gotten even close to the speeds of the Samsung 850 Pro. I know when I was running Win8/8.1 I was getting close. But, with Win10. No. Not even. I just live with it.

On the following page, there are groups lists for application of the processor type socket. please select the appropriate one for me.

That is if you intend to keep the old Processor?

Here, this site is a common site used to pick out deals, though shopping as it goes, these deals are reflected in their competitions networks. ALA Egg.

The core is the CPU/APU used.

Stop ! ..: I just read this thing has 8 cores, and you mentioned something about the cores showing up in Dxdiag ?

If this is true? it might in fact be an ini tweak fix for the game, and all of this "Bethesda Crap game" may have been a total waste of time.

Set the ini files to use 2 cores only in any place you can find and re run the tests, limit the game to only 2 cores.

Or shut off the cores under infinity while the game is hot /running, alt tab out, Task bar, task manager, right click the engine and force set infinity to use only 2 cores. resume.

IF that fixes the issue?  :pinch:

thanks for the link to the hard drives.

My cpu is the I7 4771. it doesn't have 8 cores - but with hyper threading it does expand its 4 cores to eight threads. I don't use hyperthreading though.

I tested both methods for limiting the game to two cores. other than severely reducing my framerate, it had no effect on the problem.

On the processor web site sales reviews, one individual claims the unit you have "zapped" two mother boards, well, I can chalk that off as user error, mostly due to professionals need to build things.

but, in the discussions here, we spoke about matching hard ware to device settings, speeds ,and frequency.

I know if you Under clock the the system 1/4 down ,you give the systems global stats "spike room" or surge room so there are no limits...does not hit the ceiling easy.

The idea is you need to crawl inside the stream, think as if you are an electron flowing through highways.

Get down inside whats going on and think about how to remove the bottle necks that occur.

Nothing is written in stone and the products can match ok on Paper but in reality may not.

From what you have posted, I know you know what I am speaking of. The ssd card / drive should perform at specs, but if the bottle neck is the other components?

Adjustments need to be made and "Observed".

  1. Test of isolation shown there is a software issue some place.
  2. The issue returned and no longer responds to isolation's.
  3. Non- response indicates a write to some place canceling out the programing.
  4. OS or game or what the OS runs..the hardware settings.
  5. The game can hurt components if the software is corrupted.

on the two sheets you posted, it shows you are running two monitors, these both talk to hot components while running the game. each monitor must be also set to exact standards to match the rams speed, not the processors speed, the system hard ram..Mhz Nothing should be allowed to get close to that top settings.

The grey area for the new tech "ssd" and such, being used in old architecture can operate ok, but only becasue they allowed the connections to use what's currently on the market. the mother boards Voltage settings and control software "firmware" Embedded is /was and still is designed for sata Platters and not solid-state components.

a simple external tray meant to house the ssd drive and ran thru a 3.1 bus, USB port should render better performances from the drives tests. IF the power supply is also correct?

But:

  1. Degradation known about the performance of the drive is established.
  2. Degradation of Game performance is the root of the complaint. "This threads birth"
  3. Miss matched hardware is now established but operational "satisfactory" for anything other than what you wanted it for.
  4. lack of understanding what's going on. Why your here. we will figure it out.
  5. Major company supports our findings, your not the only person with the issues found here.
  6. Money...seems to be a factor in decision making ? I can't help you there, you must choose your own poison.

best solutions is to test externally on a usb port that drive. Now hard drives, do in fact effect performance a great deal, a failing drive or power supply unable to keep up ?

Last...Heat.

Encase your wondering how I know when you post? I get an E-mail the instant you send it.

Know that lack of response from me is I am looking into the matter. in any one sentence, I might spot an item not yet investigated and will do so.

I do my best to research an item first before I respond.

Understood?
