Garagorn888
Hi. Not trying to troll or anything, but I'm just wondering why the admins and moderators here are so strict. I've seen people get banned just for saying that they have hacked exes(You could give them a warning first) and some get banned just for having an argument. I've also seen moderators give threats to modders just for having mod names or descriptions that could potentially be attempting to violate rules(Such as "A higher quality of Shields" trying to get to the top in alphabetical sorting(That's a stupid rule, no offense)). So, I'd just like to ask, without being too rude about it, why is this site so strict? Instant bans and instant threats/warnings shouldn't be the answer to everything, in my opinion. Thanks,Jaz
Werne
Those people got banned because they broke the rules, it's that easy. I've seen people get banned just for saying that they have hacked exes Piracy is not supported on these sites. buddah
In essence it can be summed up with these two statements: 1. we don't allow mods that circumvent the use of Steam/Bethesda's DRM. 2. no discussion of piracy. simply stated. buddah
Thandal
Presuming that you've read through the Nexus Terms of Service, it seems that your objection is that, (unlike some other on-line Communities) we actually enforce them. This seems to work well here, and we intend to continue to do.
Fatalmasterpiece
When I first started on the Nexus I too thought they were a bit harsh. However, consider that these sites have been up for many years and have maintained a high level of content and not delved into 4chanery. It's a haven for serious modders and should be a safe place for them. The moderators deal with -thousands- of people and posts every day. There has to be a set level of expected behavior. Exceptions would unwravel this system. With any website, read the rules first, post second, profit.
