BGatot
There seem to be a great imbalances in terms of quest reward in Skyrim, sometimes it does not make sense in terms of the quest's difficulty and circumstances/story. For example: For helping Klimmek deliver a bunch of supplies to High Hrotgar, something which Klimmek took as personal responsibility and he did not gain anything by it, we got paid 1000 gold. Plus the job is quite easy, and we were going there anyway. But doing a thieves guild mission for Maven Black Briar sabotaging a competitor by poisoning their mead, a mission that's quite complex , too much more effort and time than simple supply drop, and includes a pretty tough opponent (the crazy guy in the basement), I was paid with a Blessed steel sword worth a paltry 167 gold. This is not the only one, if I remember correctly. Are quest reward levelled? I did the Klimmek quest when my character was a pretty high level, and just done the Maven Black-briar mission with a new character at low level. Dambuster
Some of the quest rewards are leveled yes. Most cash rewards are leveled and almost all item rewards are leveled. Some remain unleveled however for instance the reward for helping Stalleo regain Treva's watch is always a detect life spell book which is nothing considering at high levels this quest can be quite difficult. BGatot
I see. Thank you. I guess just like in real life, in Skyrim the poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer... I mean at high level you usually are already rich and had nice homes etc.you don't need money as much, yet the quest rewards are bigger. When you're at low level and are poor and in need of gold, nice items, etc. you get little gold and lousy items. Should we organize Occupy Skyrim now? Occupy Solitude, occupy Riften...
