Guns 'N Gold

I'm wondering if someone can make a really simple mod around the premise of blowing stuff up getting gold.

Take on a well fortified position head on in an all out assault, enter the fort and blast your way to a mountain of gold.

Another idea totally random:

I'm not sure if this is possible but it would nice to take on legion troop columns and supply lines as they move from place to place

The Legion doesn't really control a lot of space on the FNV map. They have Cottonwood Cove and Fortification Hill and a couple of spots up and down the river, and that's it. Their supply lines and troop columns would mostly be off of the map in Arizona.

However, I happen to be working on a large mod that includes a good chunk of Legion-controlled Arizona, so you've just given me some ideas on a couple of quests to add to it.

(Don't expect the mod to come out any time soon - I still have a lot to do)

Good point ... and I'm glad I could help with a little inspiration. That sounds like a very interesting mod.

I'm wondering though, are you taking any of the old Fallouts into consideration? For instance the Midwest BoS? I mean I know Arizona may be out of the way but they very well may be near the BoS area.

My mod basically covers from The Hub and Junktown in the southwest to Klamath in the north, and goes as far east as about halfway from Kingman AZ to Flagstaff AZ. It's not a remake of Fallout 1 and 2 but it includes a lot of those areas, updated for my imagining of what has happened to those areas in the last few decades since FO2 and trying to map everything onto a more realistic FO3/FNV type landscape.

I currently have no plans to expand it further eastward into the midwest (I've got more than enough to do already). However, there is a BoS bunker north of New Reno in The Den. I may extend the mod as far east as Flagstaff but that's as far as i want to go with it.

There's a lot of interesting stuff in the midwest in the Fallout lore and I'd like to eventually do a mod to cover that area as well, but I doubt that I'll ever have the time to get to it.

Yeah there are lot of hidden gems in each Fallout that never make it to the wikis. For instance Fallout 2 clues you into what happened to start the war. Fallout Tactics has some amazing medical advances for Super Mutants, and technology such as an experimental aircraft. However you would have to go out your way to see these things. Except for the Super Mutants. But the wikis seem to focus on the main quests (to me anyway) and a lot of things went missing that could have been used in later fallouts .. especially Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4

The most badass companion (other than dogmeat) was a deathclaw companion. A talking death claw companion. Turns out they're pretty smart.
