"VATS targeting is bugged for certain guns"

Just so you know I am running my own weapon damage realism mod that edits many weapons but I have no touched or changed a single setting to do with VATS. However when I do enable my mod the bug happens for me :wallbash:

On the wiki It is a known bug, however It is not a problem with my game as when my mod is deactivated the bug goes, I cant simply delete the mod and make a new one as it took me hours to make! (I have tried starting a new game but the problem still occurs)

  Quote
VATS targeting is bugged for certain guns - most lever action rifles and a few pistols: it consistently shoots high, making headshots improbable or impossible. Consistently replicable by starting a new game, adding a brush gun (id: 00121148) and .45-70 ammo (id: 0013e43e), forcing guns to 100, and shooting at Easy Pete's head from the nearby road. Bullet impacts will appear on the windowpane behind him - and, shot after shot, will consistently be high. Modifying the gun to have perfect accuracy and/or setting fVATSSpreadMult to 0.01 will reveal that the VATS point of aim is roughly a foot high. No known fix yet. This bug also seems to occur with the Hunting Revolver.

If someone could please tell me what I have done wrong in my mod or what the problem could be it would be much appreciated, I have been trying to fix this problem for days now

Thanks in advance,

:nuke: NECRO POSTING! :nuke:

Sorry to revive this, but have been having the same problem myself with a few of the revolvers - did not try brush gun. You can actually see the bullet flying off into the sky, even from a few feet away.

It happens with the gold plated revolver and the gov't ammo version of the hunting pistol.

All other guns tend to fire the round (generally) wherever the crosshair is pointing.

Any ideas?
