Deactivating facebook

Hey people :)

 

As you see in the title i deactivated my fb account, and i feel much better and somehow, more relieved. No more addiction, no more cyber friends..."Only human :thumbsup: "

And facebook is...? I heard about it but always ignored it, when I want to talk to people (at least the ones that live here) I go the bar. Edited by Werne

i have facebook. but im not addicted to it. i never write anything on it. i talk to some ppl sometimes, but the ppl i wanna talk to, i have their number. so i can just call/text them

Facebook is a tool. If you can't use a tool properly it is best to set it down until you learn how (such as being strict about who you accept as a friend). :P

 

I still find it immensely useful for keeping up with my family back in England.

After getting a smartphone I use twitter more. FB is once a week. Tops. I'm not interested in (mostly) superficial friends, that need some farmville crap.

I get more news and things I'm interested in, from twitter.

 

Apart from that, I think FB is somewhat dubious, with them tracking you after you log out and crap like that. (yep, google it.)
