So SSE is going to be full of broken mods

I've been planning on migrating a mod over but the meshes won't work in the game. The esp works (though just to be safe it still needs to be ran through the new Creation Kit). In truth I don't know if I'll even be able to make the meshes work with SSE.

I know Arthmoor made a post on his site regarding changes and what prob need to happen to make various things work with the new version.

This may help (if you didn't already know this) but it is just a start.

Things are always hinky for a while with a "new" game. But it is just a game. Exercise a little patience folks. I still have my old Skyrim that I can mod til it breaks. ha ha ha

Thanks Lisnpuppy. I got the meshes into the game a little while after posting this. It was as simple as importing and exporting the meshes with 3ds Max.

Glad I could be of service. They need to put that info up here somewhere (if it is not and IDK) and like..sticky it :) Either way glad you got it working.

But yes, the only thing mods can do at this time is filter out the mods that don't work and send warnings to the authors that they need to re-work them and test them before re-uploading them. I'm sure everyone is excited to get their favorite mods back, but at this time I'd say it will take at least a month. SKSE for the special edition isn't even up yet.Once that's up we will see.

Ok so just for clarification ... I will NOT be able to simply "port" my saved game, with mods, to SSE?

Not the mods (you'll have to wait on those), but your save might work. My 1000+ hour save that had 200+ mods works fine (so far). Give it a try and see if it works.

Can there please be some kind of big 'verified' tick feature for admins to apply to mod pages or something on the mod page of authors that have been proved to have tested and have a mod that is proven to be fully ported and compatible?

The amount of flooding of broken and literally copy/pasted mods with no additional work is astounding and really hurting the players that are unaware right now...
