TokenStar Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I have been using this Skyrim mod called Earring of Unburden since I found it in the Steam Workshop. It's a pretty simple mod that does not require SKSE to work. I'm not sure if all the SSE mods are being hosted on Beth.net now; don't know if Steam will have a Workshop but I'm guessing Nexus will still have mods. I see the Skyrim Creation Kit listed under my steam tools, but I don't see an SSE Creation Kit.Provided I can find the right Creation Kit, how hard would it be for me to port this mod to the new version? I don't intend to steal anybody's work and I certainly won't be uploading any mods here myself.I just feel like I really need this for personal use, to enjoy Skyrim SE. I guess this mod may be considered a cheat, I just think of it as a major time saver.
saurusmaximus Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 You'll have to wait for the SSE CK to be released (supposedly next week sometime) if you want to port it over yourself. As long as you don't try and re-upload it anywhere, you're fine. Or, you can hope and pray the mod author will do it themselves at some point.
TokenStar Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 (edited) Hmm i downloaded the TES5 editor tool from Nexus, not sure if it overwrote an update to the mod file, but I got it to work. When I tried to set load order the Unburden mod was listed, but it wouldn't let me reorder the USSEPatch to load first. Now just need to wait for someone to figure out a way to enable achievements again (hopefully without requiring SKSE). Edited October 28, 2016 by TokenStar
