leyasu
I hate trying to run up a not so steep slope and be unable to go further. Trying to find a way to get to a tower or a cave that is up a hill is a real pain. I understand not supposed to be able to go up sheer cliffs but a small hill should not be so hard to get up onto. tazmo
least favourite, will do it in one line...annoys me that my charactor doesn't speak, a few other RPG games out there have your charactor chatting away like a good'uncome on bathesda can't be that difficult
Faivon
Just one for the moment. The inventory screen sucks real bad. I think it's designed to be have more console-feeling.
Moredhel
- The lack of different weapons and armor- Dark Elf voices sound like a Brit with a tater in their throats, I want the Morrowind voices back!- STEAM (really, f*** off!)- Spells don't scale- World is hollow- Nobody gives a crap about your current status in a guild or so- Guilds are silly, 5 quests and I'm the boss? Most has been written already, so I'll just STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM! :armscrossed:
YouOnlyGetOneChance
I'm most dissapointed in the very generic choice in items. Character development generally breaks down to skills/stats/item choices in an rpg. Since they elected to remove stats, that leaves skills and item choices. I like the seamlessness of the skills and find the perks interesting (although the similarity of 1 handed and 2 handed trees is a bit dissapointing), the lack of really interesting item choices is dissapointing. dianacat777
The complete lack of 'curse' style lycanthropy. It plays more like an easter egg than anything else. Also how short the questlines were. Progressed way too fast to be natural in the College and Companions, for one. And finally, the fact that a ten-foot fall instakills you. If the game is going to be like this when there's MOUNTAINS EVERYWHERE, I want my friggin' Acrobatics skill back. Kaldhore
Personally I think the Middle Management should go, or at least be trained. Psychologically in every *NPC* social aspect it IS kinda 1 dimensional or barely scraping the surface. Take Being Married for e.g. You build up relations with potential people, then you do a Quest to be able to get the amulet (ok you can find it) Then you wear it - its a bit slim on courtship, but on the whole not too bad so far. Then you finally get married, she either follows you in combat with no further relationship dialogue or she opens up a shop and you are a mere customer with a *my love* added in..... Please arent some of the guys at Bethusda from Black Isle? Remember Baldurs gate 2 Romances? Come on were talking 10 years ago and the nerds who give us great graphic games still have no girlfriends to relate to social NPC interactions? Im not talking adult material - thats for modding I know. But seriously. This can be also related to other social npc reactions such as reactions to you defeating Alduin or .. tbh Ive lost the will in the debate. Graphic have come on fantastic since Frogger and Asteroids but please employ some women or guys with social skills to do the npc interactions !. ok that my one complaint :)
KennethKarl
I didn't expect so many comments... Huzzah for me  !! I feel that this game lived up to 40% of it's true potential. I also hate the fact that I am a warrior with no real magic skills and I am the Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold!! Realistically how can one person be the Arch mage and the Harbinger for the companions??? I keep a charactar journal and I don't even add the parts were I become the "esteemed" leader of an organization. This game feels incomplete. Once the modding community starts to take off I'd love to see mod authors work together to make a collaborative Skyrim overhaul. Maybe I've set my hopes to high, but a man can dream can't he? KennethKarl
THERE'S NO BATTLES!There's suppose to be a war going on, where are the battles for territory? Don't give me the "Follow the Civil War quests" killing 10 NPCs that are designed to die in one hit as they run up a hill isn't a war... I agree with everything else you named, but there are random skirmishes in the wilderness when you hit the roads. That was one of the pleasant surprises when I already had some agro about the impactless questlines. You mean those 3v3 or 4v4 battles? Lol... I concur I've played the total war games, and studied battles throughout history. There is no way in hell that this game could make a battle look realistic. Which is unfortunate. The battles seem more like gang fights than battles. 5v5 battle! Congradulations men we have captured Solitude, now please disapear when the player exits the cell.
