sedeslav
Pretty much all you said above + I hate that stupid stormcloack helmet with no face. all of them look like a robots + nobody in game haven't got a simple FACE EXPRESSION! So I asked myself : Is that so hard to make? or is it just plane human laziness?

phantur
How in-immersive and short some of the side quests are. In Oblivion, the Dark Brotherhood felt like home and I was sad when the call came in to slaughter them. It took time, the killings took thought to carry out, etc... Skyrim just seems... bleh in that department.
jonasl2004
I really agree with most everything posted here. As we are all experienced RPGers the lack of NPC/follower backstory was a big bummer. I was totally expecting it and felt a bit put off by the lack there of. I would also like to see more/better in town interactions. Once your the Thane of Whiterun, the snobby fool who talks about the "Cloud District" should have different dialogue when speaking to you. What is the point of being a Thane if it doesn't really matter? i would like to see more and better house options for you. Once inside my houses, I would love to be able to decorate how ever I want. Like being able to purchase more weapons plaques and manaquines and the like. Also, have faction quests, main quests and civil war quests linked. If you do something in one line, then the other line should be "updated" with dialogue reflecting the work done. (tried to get that out without giving anything away, hope it made sense!) The game is awesome! No matter Bethseda does, there will always be nit-picking. Great game, and lets hope with DLC we can get things updated and changed. i would LOVE to see a DLC or update that gives ALL followers a backstory and quests tied to them. Be small and easy, or long and challenging....bring it Bethseda!
Flipout6
I have a medium amount of little pet-peeves, despite skyrim being my 2nd favourite game of all time, at the time. (Fo3 was my favourite game in history while i played it, but then i took an arrow to the knee/ passed the vast majority of the content.) -No backstories/personalities for companions. FNV companions were great, you could really get attached to them. You didn't want them to die. But in Skyrim, followers are more like robots that you keep around because they help you fight.-Some companion quests, like from FNV would be cool, -Whoever mentioned the lack of soldiers in the civil war, i'm with you there. It should be a 100 vs. 100 slugfest. Plus, your soldiers must suck if a one/two people can eliminate an entire fort filled with them.-I wish that the quest lines, all of them, were a little longer, except for quick things like butting the s**t out of Mikael, talk to someone, etc.-Facial animations would be nice.-Specifying to you companion whether you wanted them to use a bow or beat on some stormcloak heads up close, or pull the hammer out when the bad guys get close.-Dragon fights should feel more epic, and be harder. (not to a ridiculous degree, of course. But having a few guards and the odd citizen taking down a lizard that can destroy a city is a little underhwelming.)-More finishers. As a warrior all of my finishers are a smack upside the head with a war axe, a knee smash and a skullcrusher, or a quick stab 'n' slash. Sure, angles of the killing blow count, but really, how often do we see something different?-Finishers for mages and archers would be good too. Summon a spike of ice to impale a bandit, summon a lightning bolt from the heavens to fry the town drunk, maybe? Arrows to the knee, then arrow to the face, a cluster of arrows across the torso, or hit 'em in the heart and watch them wither and die. Instead, we just get a collapsing enemy.-Last thing, if you're going to add an animation when people die, make it a little more then a stumble! I've just been cleaved nearly in two by a scory orc with an axe. Will I stumble? NO! I'd more then likely be brutally thrown to the side from the sheer force of the blow. (These wont be finishers, merely standard attacks and animations that kill the player or enemy.) Like I said, just little pet peeves. Other then that, Fantastic game! mclericp
i feel this game is too rushed. A good example is the civil war quest. One moment you are posted to Fort X to kill 50 enemies and then the next hour you have to go to another hold and take over Fort Y.Battlescenes are also a bit rushed and thats what i disliked. I also disliked the fact you cant kill those Jarls under house arrest in solitude/windhelm w/o use of console. My blood boils when they say "Milk drinker" "Dog" etc Edited January 8, 2012 by mclericp
Kserijaro
The least favourite thing would be buying the game, wasting 100 hours only to realize this isnt an RPG(just like any ES game isnt), it is unimmersive, all the things I do have no impact on the game, it is repetitive, quests are copy paste and offer awful rewards, stock responses and Arnold Schwarzenegger guards. And yeah, the lack of closure and TOTALLY UNEPIC, ANTICLIMACTIC "END" BOSS FIGHT.

ncineration
I enjoyed the game, it might even rank as the best game I've ever played - I sat there playing it saying "this is the closest thing to a dream I've ever experienced in videogaming". That's not to say it's without flaw, obviously there were lots and lots of flaws, but it really came together as a nice cohesive whole and was well worth my gaming dollars. If I had to say what my least favorite thing was, I'd say it's the later stages of the game. if felt like the devs found themselves running out of time and rushed to finish everything up. I can give you an example: You're just about to climb onto a freaking dragon for the final flight to the epic battle with alduin. The dragon warns you once you've seen the world from the perspective of a dova, you may find yourself even more jealous. The dragon takes off and I'm all prepared for a final epic flight, perhaps flying low over some of the cities and locations we've been to before, a nice way to close out the game seeing the people and places of Skyrim one last time before that fateful battle. It should be possible, hell, a giant once tossed me into the stratosphere. This is going to be AWESOME. SLAP! NO DRAGON FLYING FOR YOU! FASTTRAVEL TIME! Instead, we get a fast-travel to a buggy area (several dragons there supposed to be "marshaled" to protect alduin never bothered to attack me), and, lets be honest, the final fight is WAY too easy. It's a small complaint really because I'm still sitting here fondly remembering all my journeys in Skyrim and would still recommend this game to -anyone-. mclericp
The sweetrolls are terrible. i agree, cant even taste the sweetness :(And i cant get drunk from drinking 500+ Alto Wines back to topic. I played another 2 hours of skyrim and i finally realised why this game aint that interesting to what i had initially expected. I m sure others found out this issue too, but i would like to point out, that the conversation in skyrim is very limited. I pickpocketed Guy 1 and murdered his wife. What did he do? "Good to see you, friend" was the answer. If it was RL he would have brought down a warhammer onto my head. So i guess many actions dont get as many consequences
