Matth85
Least favourite thing? Easy: Destruction magic is crap at 40+. Mages are suppose to become "master mages" who are demigods, so to speak. Now I start out as a decent mage and end up as a terrible one?Logic, there is none! Followed by the short guild quests. There is no feeling of ranking. I join, I do 2 quests, I am guild master.. WHAT? ... Would you really give a random guy, after 3 days tops, the rank of "Master over X guild"? .... Logic, there is none!
Grand93022
Pretty much everything thats listed above, and to add to it... The Major Cities don't feel like Cities... they're tiny, this world is so big yet it feels so empty. Also the lack of roleplay possibilities in a roleplaying game. You can't see yourself eat the food you cook (You don't even have a variety of things you can cook), you can't plant your own garden, you can't play instruments even though you can join the bard college, you can't even use the bathroom (How is it humanly possible that outhouses don't exist? I've seen people use buckets for privaries but only in dungeons never in houses, theres no baths either... You can't kill whoever you want as over half of the people in this game seem to be essential. Gaaah, I even miss the stats system, at least jumping at ridiculous heights and distances gave me the feeling of being a ninja by jumping from roof to roof. I could keep going.... all and all this game looks pretty but thats all it has going for it. The inability to play instruments even as a simple emote (I just want emotes like a npc) was disappointing for me as well. Drakhaoul
When you're talking with an NPC about a quest/mission and another NPC (usually a guard) bumps into you and starts talking about how he took an arrow to the knee, and their voice is always louder than the NPC I was talking to so I can't hear what they're saying. Too lazy to turn subtitles on btw.
Senaira
[T]he short guild quests. There is no feeling of ranking. I join, I do 2 quests, I am guild master.. WHAT? ... Would you really give a random guy, after 3 days tops, the rank of "Master over X guild"? .... Logic, there is none! Agreed. I can't stand any of the residents, not even Tolfdir!J'zargo can have his damn arch-mage title..
Alex4921
The fact you inevitably get control over a guild after like a week of ingame time(2 weeks tops if it gives you quests all over the place and you sleep through the nights while travelling) bugs me a bit as it should take months to attain this and in some convo's with Vilkas he hints that it should take months as he said something like "If you told me 3 months ago an outsider would lead the companions I would've cut your head off there and then".Yet it can take you as little as a few days to become master of the companions. Astaril
Some of mine... The Quest Log - Oblivions was far far better and felt more personal and RPish. Elves - While I think the Dark Elves suit the new look, I don't like the new look Woodelves and Highelves, I am finding they all look too similar and I hate that they have made the Bosmer look evil and scary. Dunmer and Altmer already fill this role, the Bosmer suited being that little bit cuter imo, it gave you a little more variety of characters through the game. Lack of characters - I haven't completed the game yet, so this may be a bit unfair due to it being early days, but so far there is no one I really care about that much in the game, (hope this doesn't sound over the top) but I just don't feel anything in my heart for any of the npcs, I just don't care that much about what happens to them. In other games like Fallout and Oblivion I would cheat and reload my game and spend ages trying to save a character that I liked! lol, but I only reload if my companion dies now because I need them to carry my loot home! I haven't found the dog yet though, so will get Meeko at some point. Grab function control - I don't know if it is just me but I am not finding the grab function easy to use, I really like to decorate my houses and place objects but they don't seem to turn right its like the gravity settings are unbalanced and it is hard to control. Scrolling - I really really really really hoped they would sort out all the time consuming, immersion breaking scrolling you have to do in the inventory, chests and spells etc but it is worse! Potions are even harder to find and I can't rename them all, chests and wardrobes don't have sub sections like in Oblivion and you can't sort by price or mana cost anymore. Gutted! On the whole though I am really liking Skyim and there are loads of things I LOVE about it, but am hoping they will get these little things right for the next game. I am really glad I am playing on the PC this time though as I am really looking forward to seeing how mods can improve things.
