Tinien Posted October 29, 2016 Share Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) I ran into a bug with city guard armor which doesn't move when trying to grab it and move to other place. It just remains in its default position. It can be picked up in inventory, put into any container, sold. But when I drop any of this armor on the ground it is "stuck" in the air at fixed height and cannot be moved by dragging. Moreover, this piece of armor creates a collision, i.e. it becomes an obstacle which has to be gone round. This bug has shown up only in Bruma and its outskirts (I suppose it occurs in the cell exterior which includes Bruma, but vanishes outside this cell). This bug concerns only certain pieces of armor, specifically Guard Helmet, Bruma Cuirass, Chainmail Greaves, Chainmail Gauntlets, Chainmail Boots. All other types of armor (and weapon, shields and misc. items) don't subject to this bug. Well I haven't tried all of items in Oblivion so I cannot be sure 100%, but anyway all other types of armor lying nearby Bruma guards armor (in Bruma castle barracks, Bruma castle dungeon) were moved freely by grabbing. As I recall guards cuirasses of all other cities (excludes IC guard armor) brought to Bruma were also subject to this bug, but Bruma cuirass (and all other parts of city guard armor) brought to any other city (or any other location) were released from this "stick" bug. I have suspicion about Open Cities Classic mod, that it creates this "stick" bug. Plugins were sorted by LOOT. Oblivionaddicted Posted November 10, 2016 Share Posted November 10, 2016 The easiest solution is to replace the problematic gnd mesh with a working vanilla one. Otherwise I think you can also edit the mesh with NifSkope and add a weight to the glitchy gnd file. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
