Afterlife of this game makes no sense

Okay so I've finished the game, and i feel like their should be new dialogue and story paths depending on what order you do things in.

For example:

In the companions quest, that leader guy doesnt wanna be a totally awesome badass werewolf anymore because he feels he wouldn't be able to get into Sovernguarde (sorry for the spelling, im not a Nord in real life =P). But if you are a werewolf, you can go into sovernguarde for the story mission to kill alduin, and they tell you that when you die you'll be back and they will welcome you then....

So if you do the companions quests after that, shouldn't you (instead of killing all those witches) be able to just tell him he's got nothing to worry about?

Another thing is that because im a wolf, im supposedly going to Hircine's Hunting grounds when i die. But im also a Nightinggale, which means when i die ive got to continue to guard the Twilight Sepulcher for all eternity. But im also a great warrior, who is welcomed into sovernguarde. Shouldn't 1 or more Daedra be angry with me right now for breaking all these promises? 0.o

Im just imaging a situation when you die where about 30 Aedra,Daedra and assorted gods are all standing in a huddle nearby and you tug your collar saying "Well erm...er...this is awkward....thanks for all the artifacts guys!"

But seriously you will probably serve the most powerful entity you helped(If you did the DB questline Sithis would override pretty much everyone as he is one of the most powerful Daedra).

Another option would be you can say "f*** you all,i'm the Dovahkiin and i'm going wherever the hell i like so GET READY SOVNGARDE!" as normal 'mortal' rules might not apply to you.

It's simple. You would probably be able to choose yourself, consider your powers. Then in the end, you would enter the Void and Sithis would have his fun.

Sithis is the 'father' of the Dadreas, and one of the 2 forces of the .. well, everything. However, Anu ( God of Creation) wouldn't care too much about mortal, or immortal, matters. Whilst Sithis/Padomay( God of Uncreation) wants to ruin everyting that is within creation. So he/it would certainly enjoy breaking anything.

I like to draw a line to the serie "Supernatural". In one episode they capture Death, as in death himself. He says that he is not sure who is oldest: God or him, and at one point he will reap/kill God too. Everything will be reaped at one point.

So I see it like that: Mortal and immortal will all die at one point, and in the end -- enter the Void. Now they are under Sithis.

I was thinking that somehow either Kynareth (since she let humans/mer have shouts/speak Dragon) or Akatosh (since he is the father of the dragons and you are a Dragonborn).

This is a bit of an oversimplification... Well, a lot of one actually. Padomay is the essence of Change, while Anu is stasis. As such, Padomay(Sithis) is more about creation than Anu. Sithis doesn't care about life or death in the least, all he cares about is that things change, and death tends to bring that about quite quickly.

Anyway, the Aedra, by all apearances, don't care. With the exception of maybe Akatosh (since you are the Dragonborn) i'd be surprised if any of them got involved. The Daedra are likely to bicker over you, though i'd imagine they have something in place to deal with the situation, probably involving Pyrite and he is responsible for keeping a degree of order in Oblivion. Ultimately you will serve your time though, and pass into the void.

As for Sovengarde, it's an interesting place to consider. It was created by Lorkhan (Shor) who was not particularly well thought of by the Aedra. It also doesn't seem to allow souls to pass into the void after a certian amount of time. It is also based on Norse/Germanic mythology, meaning it is a haven of warriors. Which raises the question... Why would a tricksy, borderline evil god create a repository for the souls of some of the worlds greatest warriors? Plot divice mester Frodo, plot device.

It's probably a hilarious case of the various daedric lords having to engage in a brawl to get their due if they all still equally want a piece of that pie.

It's could also be possible that people with such multiple paths to the afterlife would be drawn to the one which they served most. Four daedra might have claims on you, but you spent your life diligently and penitently serving Nocturne in your duty as a Nightingale for example, so when you die your soul naturally charges off to do her bidding. Yes, the others are going to be pissed, but none of them are powerful enough to start a war with each other over it. I would expect being a werewolf to be something that takes precedence; it's a 'gift' that changes your body and mind on a daily basis. You could serve Nocturne all you want, but you're still a werewolf. Note: In Skyrim you're a werewolf because you've basically signed a contract with Hircine for power, not because you're an unlucky bite victim, this is why I think it would take precedence alongside the warping effects of it. It might be different for someone who unwillingly became a werewolf but dedicated their life to the worship of someone else. Especially if that worship was how they were coping with the werewolf problem.

When the player enters Sovngarde in the game, they do so as one of the living via a portal directly there. Whatever pacts you've made regarding your afterlife are irrelevant, since you're not dead. You're a tourist, there to see the magnificent mists. And kill a massive wuss of a lizard.

Which was my point. In the end you end in the Void, no matter where you go first. Thus SIthis gets hold of you, wether the Aedra or Daedra likes it or not.

Yes you sign a contract to become a werewolf, that you get Werewolf powers in exchange for your entire afterlife, which now has to be spent in the Hunting Grounds.

But then you sign another contract to Nocturnal, an agreement which gives you Nightingale powers in exchange for your afterlife, which now has to be spent guarding the Twilight Sepulcher.

And then when you get to Sovernguarde, they say that you must go back to the land of the living, for your adventure is not yet done, but they will welcome you back with open arms once you die.. even if you did the companion and theives guild quests before finishing the storyline...

all im saying is I wish the quests would tie together more coherently, instead of seeming like seperate games with different Dovahkins doing each one >.< I'm also getting tired of people during quests saying "Are you sure you can handle this? It's pretty dangerous in there!" and I wish i could reply "I just destroyed a dragon that EATS PLANETS. I think i've got this pretty well in hand." lol
