wizardmirth Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 This mod features a background-rich lore-friendly and totally small-quests upgradable home just above Evergreen Grove. Although it is currently early alpha playable, less than half the intended script-able features have yet to be built. Most or all of the problem: me being REALLY unmotivated to learn Papyrus. Please note that NOT even half-remotely complex scripts are required and are mostly for sorting containers. I should also point out that this home already has a rich (written) history about 2 generations deep from the player with family history to spare. Most of it will come from the original founder of the home who will have been passed on by the time the player takes it over. Current NPC-wise there will be two sides of a family (opposing male and female cousins) the player can help in order to unlock more and more House bonuses. Perhaps even a branching storyline but that depends on who is willing to help me script and how far. So far I am just happy getting one or two basic scripts working as intended. So PLEASE feel free to just do one script and then bounce. So if you think you may be willing to offer at least help on one or two basic (these initial are just sorting container items scripts) then please let me know. Finished: All Basic placements of home and NPCs, some minor dialogue and sorting, though little else other than some other concepts limited to scripting. Also Note that this is NOT meant to be an upgradable home (it will remain classically old, one interior modern to vanilla, exterior section decrepit, but full) but will have both normal and some unique sorting bookshelves that I have already figured out for myself and placed. If anyone wants to see this let me know then I will upload the fully usable WIP version of this exterior+house+cellar+2NPCs w/limited dialogue. And Re SE: should be for that but I may consider dealing with if ultimately not transferrable for any reason. I have not tried it yet myself. wizardmirth Posted November 7, 2016 Author Share Posted November 7, 2016 I'll probably have to re-figure out my basic working script for sorting objects - I think I can get those working again if I can set aside the time. The good news is that I was able to get the .esp working in SE but forgot to port over my script at this time. I just hope that moving those over as well doesn't crash it or anything on start up or play.
