Akrid
well....... JOIN APEX!!!!! Just a sugestion, click on my signiture below to go to our humble site. I tried mapping a targa in 3DsMax and got white, then used my cutsom .bmp and it worked, but I had to use a existing .bmp file and modify it. Peregrine
Ooh yeah I remember it's the name of your texture...you have to name your texture...so not just material 01 but give it the exact name as your texture...like when the file name is mytexture you have to name the texture in max also mytexture.... Nope. I use whatever material names I feel like, and I don't have any problems with it. As for the white maps ingame problem... its probably your texture dimmensions. They have to be square and a multiple of 128 or it won't work.
Geonox
it doesn't work the position is still wrong... <_<...is there anyone who knows how to get te right position for a head or hair peice???? because this didn't worked: [Affect Pivot Only-Center to Object], then position the model at 0x, 0.715y, 52.122z. Make sure you [Affect Pivot Only-Align to World]. the head is a little bit to low and is placed far to much to the left...same for the hair...First when I edit a npc to check with my own made head the head is at the right position only a little bit to low...but when I move the npc the head jumps to the left <_< ....please help me EDIT: ok something usefull...after a long time of placing the head checking it in morrowind and again move it a bit and check it in Mw...I figured something out....Try this position: X 5,676, Y 0,715, Z 0,012 it worked for me :D so I hope it will work for any other ppl who don't know the position for their head :P
Akrid
Found in 3DsMax that wheh you move a model left it goes down in the TES, and right in 3DsMax makes it go up in the TES. Then up and down in 3Dsmax affects the horizontal in TES, and back is forward and forward is back.
