Elsewhere on the site is an announcement that due to the truly OVERWHELMING demand for files and info with the release of Skyrim SE, the system was becoming completely overloaded. In order to prevent the site from collapsing completely the NMM connection has been temporarily turned off. I'll try to update this post with a link to the announcement, and / or any updates when I can find it again.

As a member for over two years I want to say that this is the first time I've seen them have this kind of problem, so don't take this as the normal operation.

Unable to Download any Mods using the Nexus Mod Manager for Fallout 4.

I understand that the Site is having a problem due to SkyRim BS. but this does not expain why the NNM client has to have an account to download with. as a paying member I do expected to be able to download with out having to deal with a "Logon Error" in the NMM Client.

Can we please get an ETA as to when this issue will be resolved. or when the SKYRIM BS will be throttles to prevent this issue in the first place.

thank you

Dude... Listen to how entitled you sound, man.

Skyrim is the biggest source of traffic on this site, and ostensibly, the biggest source of income for this site. Why in Zeus's flea infested beard would the owner want to throttle traffic for his primary player base? Be thankful he didn't throttle everything else in favor of Skyrim.

Additionally, the ONLY thing not working right now is NMM downloads. You can still download manually and use NMM to manage your mods. That's what I've been doing, and I am also a premium user. In fact, I renewed my subscription exactly because I knew the beating this site is taking atm, and my tiny sub fee is a way to assuage my guilt for contributing to that load.

Lastly, if you read this news article -- ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/news/12930/? ) -- you understand that Sunday is Nexus Mods' busiest day. Logically, it would follow that you probably will not be able to use NMM auto download at all today. Check again tomorrow.
