lichy123
skeletal dragons are in the game, so its possible for them to exist. dragons turn to bones when they die. it only makes sense that you can reanimate their bones. atm it just blasts they skeleton which makes less sense. lichy123
don't wanna summon a dragon.. that i can do without a mod with a shout.. i wanna reanimate the one i just killed so it will know who is the boss :P
Dragonborn502
Only Alduin can use reanimate dragon shout.Unless you added it via console, tough not sure if it works while used by player.I know your point, just wanted to say that. But no thrall on bone dragons. That would be too OP, and weird.(Necromancer with two permanent dragons meh)
lichy123
alduin does a full reborn spell tho.. since dragons never truly die unless its the dragonborn who kills them
billyro
Yes, the dragon Alduin resurrects still have their souls (most likely) so unless you could prevent the soul absorbing, it wouldn't make sense. Though it doesn't have to make sense! Edited December 19, 2011 by billyro
lichy123
well. when you reanimate a corpse it dousn't put a soul in their body or bringing their soul back.. it just make their body "alive" but they are nothing but a shell.. a mindless, SOULLESS drone for you to control. haven't thought about the conjuration tree.. guess skeletal dragon minions could be exploited :P
sgtskywalker
We need this goddamnit, make it! Would be pretty amazing to wander Arthas style with your own bone dragon..! :
TenderHooligan
I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but there's a mod called Resurrect Dragon Shout that I stumbled upon last week and think is brilliant. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37046//? What it does is, you revive the dead dragon for 180 seconds BUT you also need to have a dragon soul because the dragon reabsorbs the soul to get its skin back and everything (awesome animation effect btw). And when the 180 seconds are up, you get the dragon soul back. It's very cool and feels very legit in game.
sgtskywalker
It does look pretty good and it's close enough to what we need that it could certainly be modified in some way to allow skeletal dragons! As for the 180 seconds, it can easily be altered to any other value to make it permanent using the CK, so no problems there! ^^ Thanks mate for that, I'll look into it!
