New to modding, and...

Well, yeah. I'm totally new to modding, and I figure I ought to start small. To that end, I'm working mostly on books right now. There's not really anything simpler, right? Pick a font, learn the (very basic) HTML, write out what I need to write, and... then I hit the wall, on account of not knowing ANYTHING about TESCS. Is there, like, an actual tutorial program out there somewhere? Right now, I'm trying to add an in-game and in-theme instruction manual for Jpm's Necromancy mod, but I figure if I can wrangle this, I'll probably start whipping off books of helpful reminders for all sorts of things. (Parp's Ayleid Guidebook, I could kiss you.) So, help a brother out?

Here is a good place to start learning. http://canadianice.ufrealms.net/forum2/ind...hp?topic=7647.0

Canadian Ice & Howndawgs place has a lot more stuff for the aspiring scripter, as well as links to even more places.

Good luck, and I will be looking forward to seeing your mods here.
