Dorryn
Hello. As the title says, today I realized the strings subfolder is simply gone... I tried the "verify integrity of game cache" function in Steam but it tells me Fallout 4 is fine. I do use mods but through modorganizer. Can anyone help me with this? I'm hoping solving this issue could fix my random CTD problem.
ma1025
One of the updates removed the Strings file and now the game reads them from one of the archive files. If you need loose string files, you should be able to do a search for "strings" on the Nexus and find some to download.

ma1025
I can't remember what vanilla file structure looks like. It's probably only Video assuming you haven't got any mods loaded.
