  1. I don't really understand what you mean. I looked into Scrap Everything's esp and haven't found any EditorID between brackets like you mentioned. I did however found references to PREVIS and PCB within some cell forms.
  2. Hello. I'm hunting for performance cripplers in my load order, and as I understand it such mods belong in that category. So I know that scrapping mods are the main culprits here but it seems (from I could find on the topic) other more seemingly benign mods can break PV/PC. Is there a way those can easily be spotted, like a particular record in xEdit maybe ? Thank you.
  3. Hello modders, I'm having an issue with this otherwise great piece of armor : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59399/? The issue is when I'm crouching and using a shout while moving, there's some kind of camera movement that's meant to simulate the character's head movement (I think), which makes the inside of the armor chest-piece visible on the screen, like so : http://i.imgur.com/nHMKceEt.jpg This is the only armor that gives me this problem, I'm thinking the mod author forget to make the 1st person model transparent of something... Btw, I am NOT using any mod that modifies the 1st person camera. Would if be possible to solve this by somehow editing the mod files? Another solution would be to disable the shouting animation but even the mod Disable Camera Sway doesn't do it and I have found any mod that does it. Any help would be appreciated
  4. Will Vortex be able to handle mod priorities like MO did, with drag-n-drop?
  5. Ah alright. So the only folder in 'data' should be 'video' then?
  6. Hello. As the title says, today I realized the strings subfolder is simply gone... I tried the "verify integrity of game cache" function in Steam but it tells me Fallout 4 is fine. I do use mods but through modorganizer. Can anyone help me with this? I'm hoping solving this issue could fix my random CTD problem.
  7. Hi. Recently the Unofficial Skyrim Patch made this fix : As much as I applaud the authors oft he unofficial patches for the continued effort, this is the example of a "bug" that I had no problem with. In fact it was very handy to have four vendors in the Thieves Guild cistern (five with Tonilia) always available at any time of the day. Could someone please make a small mod to revert this fix? That would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  8. The idea I had in mind was to modify the script so that the fight doesn't start before the player gets within a certain distance of them. But I don't even know if that's possible.
  9. My Enhanced Skyrim Factions: The Companions Guild mod ups the giant's health... of course, it makes a lot more changes to the guild, too. It does? I'm sorry but even with your mod installed (I've been using it for a while, great job by the way) I always need to sprint like a chased rabbit to get to that giant before the companions kill it. You might wanna add some more health to that pool :)
  10. Tweaking the giant's health pool is easy for me, making the whole group appear somewhere else will require some more learning :)
  11. Well I decided to take a look into the Creation Kit and guess what? I managed to find the giant's file pretty easily. Turns out this poor bastard only has 100 health points (against 3 Companions how long could he last?). I made a first try changing the value to 1000 and I can confirm that I have the right file now. Obviously 1000 is too much, I'm thinking 500 is good but I'll need to do some testing. I also found the script which starts the encounter. I'll try and see if a condition can be added to start the fight only when the players reaches a certain distance.
  12. Hello. I'm surprised that such has (apparently) not yet been made. See the giant that fights a group of Companions outside of Whiterun when you first get there? Don't know about you, but I always find myself sprinting, cutting accross the hill so that I have the time to at least send one arrow in that giant. Problem is most of the time he dies before you can even get him in your sights. So would it be possible to make a mod to either make the giant tougher or make it so the fight doesn't start until you're close enough to take part in it? Much appreciated.
