Wanting to know how to level armor

I recently downloaded some great armor, BUT it was better than glass armor and I could get it at first level. I have looked everywhere for the place on the construction set but found no place to tell what level for it to show up. I want it to wait until I'm at a certain level before it will show up at the shop. Can someone please help me?

 

P.S. I forgot to mention that it was my main level, not the mercantile level. In any case, PLEASE tell me how to level it! PLEASE! (pretty please?)

The purpose of most armor mods is that you get to have something nice looking and strong without having to wait for it. If you do not want to use the armor at level one, just don't pick it up, or deactivate the mod until you get to the level you want. There's no need to alter it in the CS, just use a little self restraint. If you do pick it up early and feel guilty, just increase the difficulty slider, it will more than compensate for anything you are wearing.

The easiest way is probably to keep a back-up of the mod in case of anything and load the mod as active set. Delete the objects from inside the merchant's container and make sure respawn is unchecked unless you want to buy a new set again later. Next create a new leveled item list and put the armor pieces in there using the level you want. Then add this level item list to the container. Save and you will have a modified version of the mod. Just don't upload it anywhere without the author's permission.
