bben46
Works fine on FireFox, WaterFox and any other variant of FF I have tried. However, FF add ons can cause problems - such as Add blockers or other security type ad ons.As can your Firewall, antivirus antispyware and other programs that work with browsers. zone22
Well I don't know what to say. I completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted my user profile. I have uninstalled my firewall and anti-virus and I've rigorously scanned my computer for viruses. Reinstalled Firefox 9.0.1 , started it up with no add-ons and I still have the same result as above. This happens on my desktop and my laptop. This isn't just related to skyrimnexus but all of nexus. I hope somebody else has problems so we can compare notes :/ It's making me want to switch to chrome despite despising Google.
difuoan
Hallo there! I've been experiencing the same problem (content-area doesn't show up -> can't download), but I found two workarounds: 1) Downloading mods via the Nexus Mod Manager (Thank you Nexus!) works perfectly fine for me (Firefox on Windows XP). You can download it here, which I can only recommand you (Although you CAN'T download each and every mod via the manager, which led me to the second workaround.). 2) When useing Internet Explorer 8 (I know, I know, I hate Microsoft too.) the content-area shows up and you can download the mods manually. (Note that IE7 DOESN'T work, since the Nexus says it's obsolete.) I sure hope this helps you. If not, there's always Curse and PlanetElderscrolls, although they don't have half as many mods for Skyrim as the Nexus does. Greetings, difuoan. buddah
Clear your cookies and cache, if you are using ad blocker or no script you will need to disable it or create an exception for the new domain names. Or you can try a different browser, the sites are fine. Buddah
Stryfe23
Sorry for the bump, but this was exactly the same issue I'm having now. The main OP's, and the first in the thread. Firefox 10.0.2, Linux 64bitOpera 11.61.1250, WinXP 32bit - Both have javascript enabled (by default). - Both are on default, fresh install, settings. - Neither of them have any plugins that affect scripting installed. In addition to the commons bugs mentioned in this threads first post, Opera will not log into my account. Internet Explorer 8 (WinXP) works for me. This is not optimal though as I usually only ever use 'one' browser, and in Linux usually only have one actually installed. CarnageBonanza
The fix that worked for me on Windows 10 at least was installing 32bit firefox and not x64 version. I think it's a javascript thing as I remember x64 Firefox warning me there could be javascript issues with this version. With x86 firefox all works fine now.
