Koulikov
Hi, I installed a mod which would make the gameplay more challenging, it removed my crosshair and my compas. Now I wanted to get rid of it.. Things i tried: -Removing the dll's > didnt work.-Delete the whole Skyrim folder and reinstalled the game > didnt work. Its actually pretty weird because after the reinstall my character data still was there..Anyone could help me? Thanks,
maboru
Try deleting your ini files, the two in your my documents, my games folder and the one in the skyrim folder, then log back on to your Steam account to verify your cache and then restart the game. amycus
saying how you installed the mod in the first place would probably help...Giving us a link to the mod in question also helps to give you any specific advice. David Brasher
Amycus has the right idea. To remove a mod, you will want to examine the compressed downloaded copy of the mod that you saved in your archives. You look at everything the mod adds, and then go in and remove those files one by one.
Koulikov
Performance_and_bugfix_ENBSeries_093_Patch_6-953-0-093 < thats the mod. I just want my compas and health/mana bar and my crosshair back Edited December 18, 2011 by Koulikov
maboru
Those settings can be found in your inis and the crosshair setting can also be found as a check box in the game options. If you still have the downloaded zip you can check and see exactly what files were installed and then you can simply compare and delete. Or, if you don't have the original zip, go back to the mod page and D/L it again to see what files are there.
