Nav Mesh mod.

Ive noticed that probably my navmesh problem is caused by the main mod I use to clean up my sanctuary

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14297/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D14297%26preview%3D&pUp=1

it has several reports of bad AI pathing etc. But is there a solution for this? This is probably the best sanctuary mod to date and there is no way I can redesign what I did without it.

If the mod author doesn't fix it then unfortunately you'd have to fix the navmesh yourself which you are allowed to do as long as you don't share the changes with anyone. Basically you open the Creation Kit, check Fallout4.esm and check the mod's esp, then make the mod esp the active file. By making it the active file all changes you make will be to that mod (probably want to back things up first). You'll want to go to the Sanctuary area in the Render window. Then go into navmesh mode and take a look. I'll link what is in my opinion the best navmesh tutorial out there. It's made for Skyrim but everything works the same way still in Fallout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JGpfOLiLic

The creation kit always gives nearly 1000 warnings on opening thanks to all the bugs Bethesda left behind, you can safely ignore them. Are you saying that the mod won't open or you can't open the location in the render window?

Dumb question: You are marking the mod you want to edit/work on as Active, correct?

Just checking just in case.

I want to edit the mod for myself, not for publishing or anything. I'm just trying to figure out how to make the navmesh normal in my sanctuary base.
