Longhair23 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Was playing the game last night, get home today and game will not launch. Downloaded a few mods inbetween, i have checked my NVid and it is all good to go. Not too good with computers any help?
Illuwn Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Post your mod list if you can, it's probably a mod you downloaded. Sort your mod list if you haven't already with LOOT, and check for any missing masters messages throughout the list. Yesterday I downloaded 'Hearthfire multiple adoptions' mod from the legacy Skyrim site as it hasn't been ported to SE yet. The game would not start after pressing Play, but the process with still running in Task Manager. I uninstalled the mod and game started up fine. You can start by disabling all those mods you downloaded after playing last night. See if the game works, if it does, you can start enabling the disabled mods one-by-one and isolating the issue.
