eZORN
Hello, I'm having issues running an enb on windows 10. Whenever I install one (I've tried 2 different enbs) the game never makes it to the Bethesda logo. I've watched multiple YouTube videos on installing enbs and tried installing directx 2010 as suggested on Reddit and nothing has worked. I know it is the enb that is crashing because the game will run fine with all of my mods and no enb. I don't know if this is against the sites TOS (if it is I apologize) but I would be willing to pay someone for their time to help me get my game running with an enb via Skype screen sharing or teamviewer. I have an i5 processor and a GTX 780.
BlueGunk
Sorry - probably a dumb answer, but have you made sure the correct D3D9.DLL and ENBHost.exe has been downloaded from Boris Vorontsov's ENB site, (wrapper version) and placed in the Skyrim directory? After that, the ENBLocal.ini needs to be adjusted to match your local conditions - the ENB Modders normally give the correct settings for their ENB. A CTD out of the game very early is usually a case the DLL or ENBhost.exe is not in place. At least that's how I experience it. ENB will run fine on Win 10, by the way. I have a win 10 set up. My ENBLocal.ini memory settings: ExpandSystemMemoryX64=falseReduceSystemMemoryUsage=trueDisableDriverMemoryManager=falseDisablePreloadToVRAM=falseEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=320 //start with 64 and increase through 128, 256, 320 384 448 512 576 640 704 768 832 etc, until stutter stops. Max is 1024VideoMemorySizeMb=3714 //Win 10 memory bug max = 4096. Knock 350 off and set to 3714. EnableCompression=falseAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false
