LE The Forsworn

The ending of the Forsworn quest really annoyed me, there's this stomp through the city of Markarth, the death of the head of the Silver-Bloods, and King Malacath's last line to you is that they will gather strength, and the Forsworn will return to take back what is theirs. After that Madanach and his buddies head over to Druadach Redoubt where they are FRIENDLY towards you (though not your horse -.- ), but otherwise just sit around and do nothing.

 

What I'd like to see is a new quest line that has two options:

1. Side with the Jarl of Markarth and destroy the Forsworn threat and kill their King Madanach, would have you going through a bunch of caves and Forsworn hideouts to defeat Madanach's lower chieftans until you reach his residence which would be filled with high level Forsworn (which should really be Fort Sungard). If you complete the quest you're given Vlindrel Hall and named Jarl of Markarth.

2. Side with Madanach and sow discontent between the remaining parts of the Silver-bloods and the Jarl, take the Dragon Bridge to cut off the possibility of Legion reinforcements to Markarth, and assault the city of Markarth. At the end of the quest Madanach resides in the Understone Keep sitting upon his new throne. As a reward, you are given Vlindrel Hall and named (Forsworn rank?) of Markarth. The guards would be replaced by Forsworn, though the merchants would still remain.

 

 

I think it would be cool for Roleplaying purposes. Always liked the Reach as well :)
