Feedback on your ads

So I jumped on this site for the first time in awhile. My adblock was turned on, and I figured it was only fair that I turn it off (since you guys asked so politely in the adspace). Immediately after I refreshed the page, I was redirected to an obviously virus infested website. It's absolutely understandable that you guys want to make money, but I'm not going to let you give my computer aids in order to get it. Welcome back to the blocked list.

So my feedback? Re-evaluate your damn ad vendors..

Did you report the Ad? The is no way the Site Owner can police these Ads without any information on the culprit. Get a screenshot or press the Report button to let the Site Owner know who the offender is. Then Robin can get it removed by the Ad Provider. This and many other sites are under virtual siege by spammers and they are being reported as quick as they come only to be replaced by others of their ilk. Otherwise you are punishing the Site for that which is not their fault.

@Rabbit. So you are saying it is the responsibility of the consumer to report malicious advertisers? Here I thought in order to place advertisements, they had to be screened and verified before hand.

A smart way of thinking would be to consider the legal implications of would happen by Nexus allowing unverified ads to install malware or worse on a subscribers system and be held liable for the results

What I'm saying is that the ads are specific to your geographic location. If you see an offending ad there is a very good chance that I will not...nor Dark0ne. It is only through our co-operative intervention that they can be stopped.

Quote: "...Nexus allowing unverified ads to install malware or worse on a subscribers system and be held liable for the results". First off Subscribers do not see ads. Secondly, Nexus is not allowing anything of the sort. Rather you would be by not reporting the offender with sufficient information to stop them at the ad agency that hosts them. The only other option is to remove all of the ads...and the Nexus, too, for that matter!! This site is very expensive to run let alone expand and improve upon. I would support this site by watching the ads, but I hate ads!! Therefore I have paid the Nexus my money directly. No ads and I'm supporting a site that I feel is well worth it.
