Eferas
Since I have lots of loose files and most of them are replacers (as HD textures and meshes), I'm think of making archives to clean things up, but I have a question: can I make an archive of all replacers? Will they work in game without an esp file? Or an esp file is required for an archive to be loaded? And in that case, what should I edit in this esp? Thanks. :)
lofgren
You can add the archive to the skyrim.ini file in order to have it load without a plugin, unless something has changed since the original version. Add it to the end of sResourceArchiveList2.
agerweb
If you want it to work in game without fiddling with the skyrim.ini a bsa will require an esp of that name - it can just be a dummy one with nothing in it; go into the CK and save with a name of your choice then exit. Then make sure that esp is in your load order.
Eferas
I will go with the empty esp, thanks guys. :D
thumbincubation
I was wondering the same, as I want to reduce the number of loose mesh/texture replacers in my data files. TY all for asking and answering this. Helps me very much. :)
